L’artiste suisse Urs Fischer, domicilié à New-York, enchaîne depuis plusieurs années les succès internationaux. Le film accompagne les préparatifs de sa première exposition en solo aux Etats-Unis.

Biography
Born in 1947 in Lucerne, Switzerland. Studied photography at Kunstgewerbeschule Zürich. 1970-72 Teacher of photography at the Bath Academy of Art, England. Since 1972 works as cinematographer, screenwriter, producer and director. 1977-81 Member of Nemo Film AG. 2000 Cofounder of Schumacher & Frey GmbH. Since 2004 mainly produces and directs portraits of Swiss artists. Lives in Zurich.
